Took delivery of this yesterday on the secondary market. Thanks so much to NC Blades. Fit and finish is well custom. The blade steel is bg-42 and is like a razor. The knife is light in the hand with good ergo's and locks open like the bank vault lock up it should. I can find nothing to nit pick on the knife. Well the carbon fiber is kind of smooth but the thumb ramp allows for good traction so your hand doesn't slip, not a nit pick at all really. Everything about the knife is first class all the way. All seams and joints line up perfectly, no over runs on the carbon fiber, the screws are recessed the same amount all the way around and there are no sharp edges at all on the knife except where there should be.

Needless to say I am a happy camper. This knife can be tactical but most of all it can be very useful what with the sharpness of the edge and the high hollow grind it just glides through the medium needing to be cut. It is big but carries light and it feels like the pivot is like oiled glass on glass. I also notice that the stop pin is heat treated too. Grinds perfect. I am happy and if I had a camera I would ask some one to post a pic. But I think there still may be on USN that NC put up. Well keepem sharp and happy holidays.

I have my eye on a 458 mag. now. Reasonably priced so I think I am going to scarf it if it is still available. Man its wierd. I have had high prod. pieces and a few customs. I could never bring myself to carry a moonsong sebbie I acquired nor a couple of other high prod. and mid tech designs(mostly MT's) but this Lightfoot begs to be carried. I am not worried about it in the least. Looks good, feels good, and cuts good, and its classy. Don't know if I will ever carry a BM and the like again. Well my Mannix for sure! keepem sharp and Merry Xmas.
