Here is a new order I just finished.

The 6 3/4″ blade is made of 5,000 layers of 1084 and 15N20 in a “W” Feather Pattern, the guard and pommel are also made of “W” Feather Pattern Damascus. The handle is made of Desert Ironwood. This is my favorite blade/handle design. I also made the sheath, it is tooled and stained a mahogany color.

Tell me what you think.

Great looking fighter, Kyle! Your handle design looks like it would be very comfortable. Super damascus.

Just to put my $.02 on a really gorgeous knife, I think I'd like the guard a touch smaller and with the edges at least broken, if not rounded. I'd also like to see the guard extended a little more up the handle (longer?).

That would make it better for me, but it's a really nice package as is. As has been nearly everything I've seen of yours- it's really pretty exciting watching your (amazingly fast) developement- thanks for posting, and please keep it up.

I watched that feather pattern being made the other day, it is a heck of a lot of work. Yours looks great. The knife as a whole looks darn good, though I would probably prefer it with a stainless guard and buttcap.

Congrats on another beauty! But really, WOW!

It's been a while now that I've really been looking forward to posts of your work.

Thanks,
Dave

That's the Coolest Damascus Fighter I've seen in a While.-Keep Up the Great Work.

Another WOW! :D
More great work.
Wouldn't change a thing on this Fighter and the mahogany stain on the tooled sheath complements the DI perfectly.

That is a nice piece of work, the pattern of the steel is something unique. Nice leather. Easy to put on one's belt, but how could one ever take it back off?

WOW. Very nice. Beautiful handle, nice damascus. Nice sheath also.

Kind regards,

Jos

very clean and very nice. The sheath looks to be done very nicely but seems to be a bit large for my personal taste the knife would carry well in a more streamlined sash carry style just my humble opinion fantastic knife

Great looking piece. Kyle. At the rate you're going, there's
nothing but great things ahead for you in bladesmithing.....

Now cut it out, while there's still some things for the old
fogeys to learn ya...(just kidding)......
