Jumping the gun a little but wanted to go ahead and make a spot for it! I will be ordering this knife tomorrow, will use Next Day shipping, and I will have it on Friday.:) I expect an OUTSTANDING knife to arrive as this is the same as my Titan Defender minus the black G-10 scales, and titanium bolsters, replaced by full green canvas micarta scales. I am going to like this finish better also, as it has a stonewashed blade and the liners look (from the pics ) like they are bead blasted. This way the mirror finish of my Titan Defender will remain that way.

So stay tuned for my upcoming report!:D

REPORT 1:

I went ahead and ordered the Lightweight Titan defender and the Boker Plus G4 today. Will still be Friday before they come in though.

END of report 1.:D:D:D

Just a quick check in to say that both knives arrived and both are AWESOME pieces! Just got a new Blackberry that I'm typing this on, but I will be back on a desktop in a bit. Another 2 great knives Boker.

Wasn't able to post yesterday, but better late than never! The Lightweight Titan Defender arrived yesterday, along with the BP G4. The LTD has the same excellent fit and finish as my original has. I got a numbered version with it being #06. The stonewash blade and bead blasted liners will make this a real worker without the fear of messing up a mirror finish. Lockup is where I like it to be with about .050" of the .140" blade left for any wear that may occur. I did stiffen up the lock bar to my liking, but that is something I do to all of them, so no fault of Boker. Blade will pop the hairs off my chest, and actually was sharper than the original, which I felt was really sharp. The pocket clip was bb'ed and more subdued than the original Titan, but I still applied the black 3M Stair Step tape to cover it, also something I do to all of 'em as it really helps to give your fingers a good grip when pulling it from your pocket, not to mention it makes it unobtrusive.

About all for now, but I will be back with more later!

Btw Jack, did your Excailber get there?

Well darn! I wanted to hear what you have to say about it. hopefully Monday will be the magic day!!:)

Alas I have no camera, nor ability to take pics. I saved up to buy a camera, and then spent my money on a knife. Big surprise, huh!

But take my word, they are both very sweet!!:thumbup::D

Now to save up and get the 2009 Damascus; really a Titan Defender all dressed up in damascus and blackwood.

Use your new blackberry, I ordered a titan defender based on your reviews on BF and your review on knifecenter...alas they were out of stock when listed as in...so I couldn't wait and got a titan worker instead.

But I'd love to see your defenders alongside other knives.

Hey, Big Red, got your email, but I can't do pics. The Blackberry pics I took turned out fuzzy, so i didn't send them. Maybe one day I will buy a camera.

Jack, yeah, that sloth mail can take forever!!:) But when it does arrive, I be expecting a review!!

JJ, I actually influenced your decision to buy?? Holy smoke!! Anyway, both Titan's are very nice and would be just a tad bit shorter, a 3 3/8's" blade vs. a 3 1/2" blade.

The Titan Worker is a very nice looking knife and I really like that brown canvas micarta Boker is using. I guess it has the same thick ti liner's as the Titan Defender's? They are .100" thick on the TD's.
