even though seller said it had nail nick he was mistaken and it does not.now I have a brother for my 2 dot 112.

Nice, I used to have one like it, 440C steel, no nail nick, segua wood, great knife for either use or collect.

I'd really like to see a picture of it. I have an old 112 with black micarta scales that I've had since I bought it new back in 1972. I've never seen one with the segua wood and am curious as to what the wood looks like.

I can't post a picture but it's dark with faint stripes a little like black walnut.the 112 two dot is macasar ebony wood and is very dark almost black.

Here is a picture of all three type together...micarta, segua, ebony.

After seeing these pictures,I checked my older 112,and it is a 2 dot 112,with pin placement identical to the bottom picture.
The wood has a two tone grain, running from dark brown to black.
Anyone have any idea what type of wood this may be?
Also, does the 2 dot come from that 72-73 era?
Any comments would be appreciated.
