Well I have been going through some of the old time blade designs and heres another. A butcher blade, Nessmuk like but not quite. Dyed maple handle and mustard patina. It is 9 and 1/4 inches total. Full flat grind and the finish will make someone a lovely traditional looking camp knife. This will be for sale when the sheath is done. I am also making a Kephart that will have the same finish.

Thanks guys! Practical is definitly the goal here. I have been refining my ideas on what a knife should be and feel this style knife is about as good as it gets as far as practical goes. This and a caper/paring knife and I am good to go!

Thanks again
