Here's a lil chopper i forged out of 1084. The tapered tand on this one makes it very light and fast in hand.

The dimensions are: overall 17 3/8'', with a cutting edge of 11 1/2'' long.

It has been clay quenched and hand rubbed to 1500grit. Then etched in vinegar and ferric soultion.

Scales are laminated bamboo dyed with my homeade walnut stain.

Yer killin' me with these choppers you've been making.......the bigger, the better, IMO. ;)

That sure is a lot of rubbing to get to 1500!
