This is one of those it started out as a bowie knives, that im kinda glad I screwed up the initial grind on, cause after reprofiling, it turned out better than I had anticipated.
The specs are forged W2, 8 1/2'' o.a., balade is 3 5/8'' tip to guard, and 1 1/8'' wide.
The blade was clay quenched, and has a pretty simple hamon. The guard was made from (3/8'') 304 stainless.
The handle is I think either white tail or mule deer.....not sure, I dont gererally use white tail, but do have some, so it's kinda a toss up, either way i liked it cause it had character to it. The sheath is hand sewn and tooled.
