i had a real itch to do something nice and curvy..
convex ground ..about a 4" blade, 9 1/2 " OAL of W2 steel.
the blade is mirror polished .. with the spine and exposed part of the tang near the finger, being satin polished.
the wood is a nicely figured jarrah.. really quite dark.. (so thats why its hard to see in the pics.) .. but there is a good variation of colour and pattern.
and the pins are some of my mosaic pins .. these ones are 'aces'
it was kind of an experiment on a half full tang blade and i think that it has a pretty spiffy feel to it.
any comments welcome.
