Aloha ALL,

I been using my Black KEYCOM as my sole EDC knife for about two weeks now just to see if I could "manage" without a bigger knife. I gotta say, I have yet to be caught short, and the coat of the KEYCOM is still in top shape!!!

I just cannot put this lil' one down, and been clipping it everywhere! It's easy to touch up, and it reminded me why I enjoyed my Spyderco C01 Worker so much:
Fine tip comes in very handy at times!!!;)

Awesome knife, and everyone thinks it's SOOOOOOOOOOOO cute!:p

I just hope my logo gets corrected...

God bless and GET THIS ONE!!!;)

Looks great I just got my 4th Boker/CLB a Trance and that thing is awesome love the flipper. Now I am looking for the Keycom all black just like that one Looks like a winner.

This one is great. I love it! Its small, but it feels great in hand and is very secure. The clip comes very handy too. It really is great little knife this Keycom. Pictures dont do him justice. Its also very light, so i dont even notice it in my pocket. Again, i really love it.

Just ordered a black model. In the midst of putting my funding into some long-term investments, so the price is welcome...That, and it's a modest birthday gift for myself.

It really is a slick little knife. I've got #007 and I believe that it'll be a constant companion. It's also inexpensive enough (can't call it cheap for some reason) to grab a bunch for family as a little stocking stuffer. Even the most spookable sheeple shouldn't have a problem with it.

Recently picked up a Keycom - got number 019. Very handy small knife. Love the straight-ish edge and pointy tip. Awesome design that feels very robust. Nice work Chad!

Finally I got my Keycom (#590) and what can I say? It is a tiny knife, but performs on a much higher level. Mine came pretty sharp and in combination with the thin blade the Keycom is a great cutting machine!
The pocket clip is rather tight, which doesn't really matter, the Keycom is the perfect candidate for the key chain. The ergonomics are incredible, considering the size of the knife.
Thanks for this great design Chad, your designs always surprise me in very positive way. Next in line is a M-Type PE... :D

I really like this line of knives.I have the sub-com & the sub-claw.I want to get the wharcom & the trance. This one(keycom) is new to me.

If it's not too much trouble, could someone post a pic of one next to a coin or a bill, for size comparison?

Thanks,

Aloha ALL,

Hey mahalo MUCH for the KEYCOM feedback and interest in this..."MicroCom".

Ya know, I never thought I would be carrying THREE knives again, but I think this counts as a "1/2 knife". LOL!!! SO my EDC's are usually a large folder like the DIREKT, one of my smaller ones, an SFV of some kind or my Spyderco Lava, and this KEYCOM Black, clipped somewhere!!!

I am totally addicted to this lil' one...and the black coat is still holding up nicely on my #345!!!

God bless and thanks again everyone!

Last week before I headed out camping I switched out my EDC Keycom for the beefier SubClaw. Needless to say the Claw performed admirably but when I got home I couldn't find my Keycom and after a few days I figured I had misplaced it during the switch out and that it would reappear someday.

That someday was today. I had absentmindedly clipped it to the inside pocket of a pair of shorts and due to its size and weight I never realized it was there until it finally came loose in the dryer and started banging around. It had been in both salt water and through the washer/dryer cycle at least three times at that point (whoops). I gave the little Keycom the once over and it looks and acts as good as new -- no staining or pitting on the blade, the FRN is still intact, and it opens and closes just as smoothly as day one.

Now it's back clipped to an outer pocket where it belongs and I'm very impressed with its durability.

Great review, nice to know the KeyCom holds up well in humid/chemical enviroment and withstands the rigorous vibrations. Maybe you should start a knife cleaning business :p

My #248 rocks too!!!

Gotta admit, while I expected something decent, the Keycom has surprised me.
Fit and finish no different than the Subcoms for about half the price. Lock-up, machining, and action are VERY smooth with very minor adjustment to the pivot (still centered, still finger-tight).

Another winner :D.
Will have to pick up an Edit, DP Trance, and a Direkt sometime soon.

So what's the significance of the number on the Keycom? Mine is #001. A pretty cool number regardless.
