LIl Lionspy Question

I just bought this knife and it had some issues. I am aware of the problems that were or are still going around with them. However, I have to ask, have any of you self remedied this or have any of you sent in your lionspy and was it fixed. Mine seems to have a bit of a gap near the blade stop and the smallest bit of lock rock. I have never had a framelock with an insert and or a Lionsteel, so is this normal? Also the gap between the scales near the stop pin could be from the thickness of the washers? I contacted the service dept and they said turnaround would be about 4 weeks. Any help thanks.
 
Wasn't actually aware of these possible Lionspy issues... one of the few models I haven't personally owned.

Have any photos of the gaps?
 
I used the calipers to measure the difference in space between the stop pin and the back spacer area, there was a difference. So it must be the thickness of the washers that throw the measurement off. I don't know if that would cause the lock rock though, it is small but it is there. I just dont know if this is common or if i should send it in?
