Lil Native clip removal

I want to pocket carry my Lil Native, so I removed the clip. So much better for me that way.

However, I can't seem to tighten the screw any more(it just spins), and the scales seperate some from the liner.

How do I tighten the screw enough to get everything snugged up?

I feared that happening to me...but it did not. I removed my clip
from my Lil Native without issue. I figured before I started if it did not
work I would use two pieces of wire the same diameter as the clip
to put in the grooves for a fully reversible mod. Try that!

It holds the scales together...it has to tighten. I was really concerned
mine would end up loose if the screw was too long too. There are only
2 scale screws on the Lil Native + the pivot. In other words, it is a wire clip
under one of the 2 screws that hold the scale together.
Why not just leave the screw out

Grind down the shank of the screw to make it "shorter". It won't bottom out and you will be able to tighten it further.

Thanks for the input.
Put the screw in the vise and gave it a few hits with a file, and...

Voila!!

Tight scales

Just wanted to make sure everything was ok before I proceeded
