Lil Native detent ball falls out

Has anyone had a detent ball fall out? I was opening and closing my 2 week old lil native and felt something fall out of it. Luckily it landed in my hand, but now I’m not sure if I can just put it back in, or if this needs to be repaired by Spyderco. If it’s the latter, I’m a little bummed I need to spend money on shipping and wait a few weeks for them to turn it around.

I had a detent ball come out of a Buck framelock, they replaced the scale.

Without any doubt, send the knife back to the Mothership and let them repair it. They may a problem in assembly and don’t know it yet so sending it in gives them a chance to determine what went wrong.

Just to follow up on this, I did send it back, pretty quick turnaround and they didn’t charge shipping like the form indicated.
