Lil Stubby, 1ST canister weld

Hey that's a Class Act. Beautiful damascus aside, that handle shape and guard and pommel - they Rock. Thanks for sharing, this is good stuff.

Nice work G, I'm wanting to try that powdered metal stuff myself. this just gave me more reason, beautiful steel. :cool:

I have a machine shop buddy that has 440C chips and turnings....you think they'll work with 1084 powder? I'll grab you a coffee of them if you want....?

Bob; I used a 2" square tube with caps on both ends, so it is not exactly same as what Chucky was doing.

Very Very Nicely Done George.I am going to have to get my press running now.I am falling behind with only a Power hammer,My attempts at canisters with the hammer just are not working.

This is the first canister weld that came out right. (Joe (Chisel) and Jerry A. had there fingers in the tube)

Nice work George..but my fingers were no where near your tube.
