Lil temp and ATR.

I have heard these models are coming back. Is this something to look forward to in 2017. And do you know of any other classics that might be re done?

At $192 street price, I am a bit hesitant because it has VG-10 instead of some higher end steel. I cannot fathom why the knife costs so much.

It's pricey and on top of that I'm wary of the Japanese produced Spydercos after having a few with weak detents. Granted those were liner locks. I'll wait until they hit the market and maybe I'll pony up if they're getting great reviews.

I would love to see both the Rhino Horn and Leaf blade variants of the Lil Temperance return. But I wouldn't want to see anything changed from the original model. Because to me that is another Spyderco model that they absolutely had right the first time IMO. The Rhino Horn Little T was not available in Spyderedge and I would definitely want that changed. But whether it is PE or SE the Lil T is truly one of Spyderco's Ultra-Classic models.
 
Oh man that's too bad about the new ATR. I got excited when I saw it but that's too expensive for me. Even if I did get it I wouldn't use it.

Maybe eventually I could find a used one.

It looks awesome, though.
 
I agree, JD, but the new Temp has a round stop-pin. The one-side-flat origianl stop pin bugged me.
