UPS just dropped off my PE Lil' Temp. One of the batch made available last week. This thing is a monster. It's also the smoothest opening Spyderco that I have. Barely makes a sound when it locks up. This is my fourth Spyder, but #s 5 and 6 are on the way. Picked up a Lava and a PE Tasman Salt in yellow of fleabay last night. These will go nicely with the SE Tasman Salt (yellow), Delica Wave and Impala CE/guthook that I already have. Can't wait for the holidays. Maybe a Caly 3 and Spin in my future. Thanks to the Golden crew for such fine products.

Hey, another one! I missed out on the SE batch, but managed to get a PE. How're you liking yours?

For crying out loud!! When is the new Lil T going to be released. I am really starting to get impatient about this. I have 3 Lil Temperances myself but that is such a stud-ly knife that a guy truly needs some back up units.

Brother I felt the same way when I landed my first one. And you know something>> there really isn't a dimes worth of difference between the S-30V model and the ones made with 440V. They are both superb pieces of cutlery.

Just like my big Dyad the knife I am sure is about extinct so back up units for it will soon be a necessity. I have only one user Lil T. I just can't bring myself to use either one of my leaf blades. I hope when they ever do release to new Lil Temperance that they make it in Golden Colorado too.

This Lil' Temp (got lucky too) is my favorite knife other the Caly 3...

Please for god sakes get a Caly 3...the smoothness on that knife blows the Lil' Temp out of the water.

Capt:

If the Caly 3 is smoother than my Lil Temp I'll be shocked. Asked my sister to tell Santa to bring the Caly 3 next month. Hope he listens. What are you asking for?

They were offered on the Spyderco website store about 3 weeks ago. I just happened to check the site and there they were. Figured I shouldn't pass this one up. I'm not sure if they were left over stock or found in a box in the back of the warehouse. As far as I know there aren't any left, but I do recall some mention of one or two being returned on that forum, so you may want to give Golden a call. It's a great knife.

Sal said about three month ago, that they have 50 pieces in R&D and they will be sold in awhile.
Caly3 is my favorite knife (along with Persian), but my Lil Temp is smoother, sorry Carl.

I bought one, like NIB, off the sales forum, and it just arrived today. It's truly a remarkable knife and, I think, lives up to, and more, the reputation that precedes it. I am not one to play the game of what knife is "best" or "better" for we all have our preferences, likes and dislikes.....and well...that is why Sal designs and manufactures so many options. No one size fits all with Spyderco...thank God. This however, I will say...the Lil' Temp is perhaps the most astounding folding knife I have ever held in my hands ! There is a subtlety to this knife, that for me, helps to reveal a greater depth of appreciation for Spyderco's designs......and I intend to buy myself a Captain just as soon as funds allow. For I believe, without a doubt, that the Captain will, in the future, come to be appreciated in the same way the Lil' Temp is revered. And it would not surprise me at all if some other current designs were to follow right behind !

-regards to all !
