OK,Ok I know it has a strong lock, great ergos, a sturdy build... But, do you really think that it is well suited for utility chores? Would you use it camping, hiking, in the yard, around the house? I love the concept of a bull-dog strong folder, but the blade shape, to me, seems more , well, personal protection oriented. I suppose that was paramount in its design. I think for utility, I would like the same construction but with a blade with a tad less sweeping curve. No flames...I am always looking for a utility folder, so let's hear what you think.

Have you checked out the 'Lil Temperance with the leaf-shaped blade? I think the leaf blade is more suited to utility tasks.

From my experience, the Rhino suits utility just fine. There is a lot of belly for cuts and the tip is very useful. Dont be decieved by pics, the tip is plenty strong. I also think that it travels better because the blade fits into the handle moreso than the leaf. Hell, you'd be better getting both!
Matt:D :D :D

love the design, love both blade options

The few Little Ts I inspected, have more blade play in the locked postition than I would like...

Geoff in Philly, check out the July 2002 issue of the Tactical Knives magazine. They did an article on the Lil' Temperance. Pretty interesting reading on this knife.;)

Don’t buy it, period!

It is way dangerous item. If you will buy one blade shape you will can’t resist to buy another, naturally just to compare.
And when you will have both you will can’t wait fixed blade version.
And so on... :D :D :D
