Lil Temperence tip strength

Hi everybody,
Can anyone out there tell me something about the tip strength of the lil temperence(leaf blade)? It seems like the width and thickness of the blade would make it less likely to break. Anyone agree? disagree?
By the way, major props to Sal on the design, I love it.

While the tip is thicker than some knives, the edge bevel is pretty thin. I would NOT consider this a pound into wood snap the tip out kind of knife.
