LILE buttonlock

I have had about 5 of those......they are very nice knives.....they are still being made but the ones that were made before Jimmy got too old and gave it up are worth more....had one just like yours that was profusely engraved...my friends dad in Mililani has it now...

Thanks for the reply. I've been surprised that there's never any mention of these buttonlocks. They seem like some of the nicest folders to be had. The folks at Lile told me that the men making them now are the same folks that made these knives even when Mr. Lile was alive. How do you think the locks would hold up, long term?
 
I have a friend who uses his constantly... I think you should put a drop or two of very fine oil inside there every couple of years. like most high end knives......I am sure Lile Knives stand behind their product and would fix any problem for the cost of shipping as long as they havent been abused.. I sure like those D2 blades!!
