Limit of Legal Size Scanner (16" Ang Kola)

Here's a link to a fairly large image of a 16" (measured along the spine) Ang Kola, vintage mid 1990's, probably "Shop 1".

There's a bit of residue on the blade of plant stuff I hadn't cleaned up yet.

Shiny steel surfaces sometimes come out dark by scanner light.

Actually, I think it's kinda cute. Was it weaker than the present version?

Weaker and much, much sharper at the ends and not given to modification. The flat plate buttcap is an immense improvement over this style.

Yep. Sharper at the ends. I figured that it must be to teach me the right way to grip it, which I guess I still need to practice. Maybe with some electrician's tape?

We got more complaints about buttcaps than anything when we were using these type buttcaps. Now that we are using the flat plate we get no complaints about buttcaps. That tells the story.
