I just recently purchased my first Sebenza. I got the large classic with micarta and love it. It didn't take long before I purchased a small African blackwood Classic with dual thumb studs. I really like both these knives and I'm afraid the Chris Reeve bug has bitten me. I'm really interested in a large mammoth ivory sebenza, but they seem to be very difficult to find. Can someone tell me what month the annual knives usually come out. I would really to get my hands on one of those knives. Also if anyone has any leads on where to get one, please let me know.

Thanks,

They usually come out around the Holidays, no leads, you can't have mine, no sir.

New Graham has a large Mammoth Ivory 2008 LE in stock right now. It is not the Ivory Bark it is the solid cream/white version.

Thanks for the information guys. I've seen that knife at New Graham, but it has a dark mark at the bottom of the knife that has been keeping me from making the purchase. I don't expect mammoth ivory to be perfect, but that mark seems to bug me for some reason. Maybe I would change my mind if I could see it in person. Boy...November or December is a long way off. I'll have to keep looking.

There is another Large 2008 Annual with Mammoth Ivory at Only Fine Knives. It seems to have no dark spots. (I have never ordered from Only Fine Knives, so I cannot vouch for their service.)

Hope it helps,
