I see a lot of " 1 Of 2500 " or " 1 Of 5000 " and so on. Where are all the 2,3,4,5,6 ect. of 2500, 5000 ?

Many of them are not serialized. The "1 of 2500" just means that it's 1 out of 2500 made. Not serial number 1. All 2500 knives are stamped "1 of 2500".

And they might not have actually made 2500 of them.
I don't think I've ever heard that. Not that it's incorrect, but it wouldn't make a lot of sense to purposely make more. It's not like 1 in 2500 would make something super rare.
They don't even serialize the Bose collaborations, even though they only make 100 to 300 of each handle material.

Well that's pretty lame.

That is an etch that requires a template. It is cost prohibitive to create 2500 templates.

I don't think I've ever heard that.

I think I had heard that at one time. If it was a dud, they didn't want to be stuck with a bunch. But the etch should be "1 of no more than 2500" ;)
There was a day where the limited editions were some of the larger runs...
