NEWS UPDATE: NEW PAYMENT DEADLINE!

DPx HEST Customers:

The payment deadline for DPx HEST Folder pre-orders has been extended for one week to Monday, November 15th. After that date, unpaid knife numbers will be released to the Waiting List.

ARRRGHHH, I thought you were posting a shipping date or something. I'm sure more than a few will appreciate the extra time.

Numbers 62 & 63 were both paid for on 11/2.

When I first saw this I honesty thought this was someone posting a fake post to mess with people.
 
found this by mistake ...not mine but anyway
anybody seen them , have they been posted before by the owner ? is this the real deal ?

the first 2 pics are of the prototype. the last one is a photo shopped pic showing different scales colors.

the prototype dosnt have the final finish on it either.

the limited editions are sold out, they were 249. the regular run if any are left i dont know are 179. you can check out the pics at dpxgear.com

Where is the original offering for this knife and what is it's price? What will be the MSRP for the next run.

Anyone know if the frame lock and blade thickness will be the same thickness/spec for the non special editions? This thing looks good.

Answered my own question, it seems so, yes.

well, i don't know what's up and haven't gotten a reply to my email yet.

but i received the confirmation for #177 on 8-6-10, followed the link and confirmed it.

on 10-1-10 i got the email with the prototype pics, which said it was "only for the 250 limited run customers".

but i have not received a notice to pay for the thing. i've sorted thru all my spam, both in the junk folder and in the regular inbox and still nothing. search for "DPx" and it doesn't show up.

did i fall thru a crack, or what?
