I noticed BUSSE runs a lot of numbered Limited Editions. What is the normal quantity that are run at a time (100, 500, 1000, or some mysterious number that comes to Jerry in a vision) ? Thanks

And the correct answer is....

"or some mysterious number that comes to Jerry in a vision"

I think only Jerry knows for sure and he ain't telling :)

It's hard to try and figure out too as they skip number series....so if you see a #700, that doesn't necessarily mean there are at least 700.

I think Jerry uses the following algorithm for normal runs.

[(last fill up gallons of gas/number of miles to the local Pizza hut) x (number of pepporonis on HIS pizza - number of napkins used) / (CBL bottlecaps he found in the couch that week)] x [(number of Clark Bar wrappers found stashed in customer boxes)/(number of groundhogs spotted when he headed home to sleep)] x [(value in cents of all Amy-0's Coors cans taken to the recycling center) x (number of times someone asked the "How do you pronounce Busse" question that week)]

So, all things equal, the more people ask the question, the fewer knives that will be made. Not good for any of us...

For the LE's, divide all that by the number of springs in the elves beds.

This is the most lucid and the best typed explanation I've seen yet. Thanks.

Ok ... Ok ... got that. So ... is that just the 'main' couch, or would any couch count? And ... is that groundhogs/km2 or just total number of grounds (integer)? I also need to know what units to use.

Going to need a little more information before I can get this forward-predictor working!;)

12 to 1000.
every single time. except if he needs more than 1000. then more. every time.

The Answer to this question is limited only To Jerry's imagination for the total Number Divided by what He thinks He can market over a specific time period.

i have mrsle #149, and ashle #1. i had batacle #28.

not that this is relevant at all to this discussion.

For "The Hood" knife, made by the Busse Combat Knife Company, I have number 18 out of a total of five or possibly six that were produced and sold.

For different Models there were different numbering systems, with some models produced in a pretty straight numerical sequence to others where particular numbers could be ordered out of sequence.
