Help me understand. So i just learned Victorinox does a Limited Edition knife every year? How many years have they been doing this(first year) and they must make only a few as i checked and already sold out. Ebay already has one for over triple the price lol. And several of the Ltd Editions are for sale at least double?
With that said how is the 2025 LE “Stone Red” Pioneer X still available at a major knife company at most likely the MSRP? What am i missing?
My speculation is they did a larger quanity? Or it’s red which isn’t enough of a color change to entice buyers as most SAK’s are red?
I hope to be ready for next years LTD.
I did order the Red one for the obvious reason my high school football team is called the Pioneers and our colors were/are red?

Lol👆🏽

There is a limited run of each colour. I don't now how many of each are actually made. Some stores still have old stock of the previous years models. Stone red was not a popular colour as far as I can tell and it was last years release so that why you likely are finding it in stores. This years Glacial Blue was just released. The classic and Evoke have been released, but I see the Evoke version is already out of stock here. The pioneer X has not hit the Canadian site yet. I hope it makes it out soon. From the photos i have seen it may be a perfect mach to my blue Acebeam flashlights.

Great info.
Is the 2026 Pioneer X sold out or has it not been in stock yet? I hope as i’ll get one if they haven’t been released yet?
Am i supposed to put an order in, in December or earlier?

There are some dealers accepting pre-orders for March delivery. My guess is the batch that was already released to most dealers, is only the first batch of several.

I'm going to place a pre-order for one so at least I hope this is true!

The Victorinox collector community is ruthless. Prices for collectible models are crazy. And when it comes to the Alox models, the colors wear off, because it's plain anodizing, rather than Type III hard anodizing, so that's why I stick to the silver Alox models, only.
