Limited Run of Toxic Green CQC-11's

That is badass. I closed the window, that is definitely a collector piece, and I'd feel bad about never using it!

I want one lol, got my CQC-11 from 2005 its still mint and unused. So a second one would be wasted on me. Awesome looking though.

I always liked the blade shape and handle ergos of the 11, by mine is a user, except, of course, for the one in the safe.

Just received mine in the mail today. Wow. The CQC-11 form and balance are perfect. I have an A-100 , but am relatively new to Emerson.

Saw it and would have bought it if it wasn't waved. Wish Emerson offered more waveless knives. I missed out on the Toxic green Persian.

I would love to see pics.

How is the fit and finish? Does the blade lean ? Lockup stick? Can you post some feedback on this run?

So....I would say fit is very very good. Smooth and no tightness when deploying. The blade is perfectly centered and no lockup stick at all. Finish is something I'm still trying to understand. I really like Emerson finish. I would say the overall "feel" is much better than my "brand new" A-100 which was actually a 2011 I purchased new from a local brick and mortar store this spring. I have several ZT and spydercos, including the Emerson designed ZT 630, paras and military's all of which I love... this one however is special..

WOW thanks for that info!

Funny thing is that on the shop's site, they seem to have colored the scale in the photo using MSPaint, rather than taking a photo of the actual knife for sale.

As of now it doesn't look like they've sold out yet.

The coloring is an accurate representation of the actual scales. I'm not surprised they haven't sold out. The 11 is an underappreciated and less popular knife. That is the reason it was dropped from production. "Toxic or Zombie green" scales are not popular either.

However, since only 30 have been produced and since likely you won't see anymore 11's, this is a good opportunity to get a good user knife or to buy one and save it for the day when future Emerson collectors are seeking CQC-11 variants produced by Emerson.

No, I don't have any connection with the dealer.

They updated the photos.

I've always been a fan of the 11 and Toxic green, but I hate coated blades.......I still may buy one?

I have bought two 11s years ago, one of which was stolen. I prefer the SOCFK though. I'm not a fan of recurves.

Recurves are more troublesome to sharpen but like a hawkbill that inside curve pulls the meat into the cut. More effective than a continuous curved belly for slashing.

I love my 11's but I don't one in puke green LOL. I've seen it rated "the best combat knife ever produced"
