Hi just got me one of these from LINDER knives in Germany and made in Germany, the fixed blade model called the TRAPPER. Now it's made out of 440A and B4 anyone starts to slate this steel, all I can say is that I own a Bowie from them out of the same 440A (well if diff sheet of course LOL) and it really keeps an edge. So let's face it, 440 series when properly heat treated is a good steel. I'm not interested in comparisons to PM steels or N690 etc, please don't say this as I'm only talking about this knife nothing else. As some background: I've said it before on the forum, I'm a scientist and I just cant make nonsensical comparisons. If anyone wants to discuss this with me that's great and I'll be glad to open up another discussion about Relevant Steel Comparison testing and Analysis" and what it should involve to produce meaningful test results that all can understood by all. Thanks in advance
