Anyone have any linder knives and are they any good? I have the opportunity to buy one and I like the looks but I'm almost certain it's stick tang at least and I don't want something that won't be durable

Just don't go batoning it through loads of hard wood and im sure you'll be fine. There seems to be this huge stigma the last decade that a knife needs to be a full tang 1/4" slab of pry bar to be a "durable" knife. Lots of old knives out there that don't fit that bill that are still serving their purpose decade's later. If you like the looks of it, buy it. Just don't try to chop down a city with it and it'll be fine.

Most of the German Solingen made knife brands have a really good reputation. If I remember correctly Linder recently closed, and the ones I have seen online over the last few years commanded pretty high prices. I don't own any Linder knives to comment from personal experience, but if the price is right it may be a good buy. I have been really happy with my Otters, etc.

When I was younger, my friends and I did stupid things with hidden tang and partial tang knives.
Luckily the internet did not exist yet, so they did not break into shards that blinded us. ;)

I'd have no issues with buying a Linder knife.

Well, I'm at war with myself. Trying to find a knife to pair with my SOG voodoo mini hawk in my camping gear. The Linder is on my list of course, as well as the 12" bear and son goldrush Bowie, the bigger 14 3/4 bear and son frontier Bowie, the Condor moonshiner, or the Condor Hudson Bay. It may also get stashed in my EDC to compliment my revolver. Any input?

I've got a couple that I got from an estate sale. A boot knife and a hunting knife. They appear to be very well made.
