Linear sander VS disc sander

To reduce time, effort, & arthritis while hand sanding do you think a linear sander such as the Sand Shark or a disc sander is more beneficial?

I think it matters a lot about what you are going for. Disc sanders are great for flattening and thinning blades however they are not suitable for hand finishing imo. They leave swirl marks. A liner actuated sander would likely be more in line with what you are going for....if hand sanding that way is the result you want. No magic really....swirls or lines.....
