Hi, all.
I use 1x42" ungritted linen belts from Klingspor Woodworking Shop to remove the burr from sharpening on the belt sander. (I use a cbn compound.) However, they are not available any more. What to do? Could I just use a worn-out belt or an "inside out" belt? Leather belts stretch too much, and I can't leave them on the belt sander. Thanks in advance.......Dan

Yeah I noticed that awhile back. If enough folks send them a note asking about them maybe they will bring them back.

Ken Schwartz was carrying linen belts for a while. He sells a number of CBN and diamond formulations and is very knowledgeable about which types of formulations work best on different substrates. Maybe email ken. You can reach him at: ksskss at earthlink dot net

They are available from Klingspor. Just not listed on the website. Call to order.
