I have a GEC Sodbuster in 01 and it will be a user. I am curious as to whether:
A: I Should sand them down to soften/texture them up a little seeing as how they are a bit slick

B: If anyone has a pic available of some sanded linen micarta so I will be able to get a reference point as to what I should expect from various grits

C: How high of a grit does it take to get a relatively higher polish if I wish to smooth it back down some?

Thanks in advance,
Bill

Others can help you with B & C, only you can answer A. Do you like smooth handles or grippy handles overall? Do you prefer grippy in sheath knives and smooth in pocket folders?

That's understandable about it being a rather personal choice for"A", but in regards to the others, I am more curious as to how the linen micarta feels as compared to smooth g10 and how much softer (?) it is then canvas micarta?

Stock micarta on the sodbuster is a glossy high polish that looks nice, but it's a bit slick. With that as the main concern, I don't want to unknowingly make it worse by trying to improve it.
