hhmoore's recent thread about Micarta, especially the unintentional part referencing "Linen" Micarta got me to thinking...
I like canvas Micarta for using-- I have no worries about it harboring bacteria...heck, I want it to harbor as much dirt, grime, and body crud it can! I don't use my Busse's for food processing.
I like paper Micarta for collecting because the great handle designs of Busse's models are showcased to their max. with paper Micarta.
Now, linen Micarta is what I think is the best of both worlds in this regard and I consider it my favorite balanced handle material.
So, to the point....Jerry & Crew: Are there any runs of linen Micarta on the horizon?
