Here's my first folder I'm making for sale to the public. I decided to make this model "robust."

Specs - 3.75inch blade, about 3.5inch edge, 8.5inch OAL. ATS34 steel 1/8th inch thickness. 0.60inch Ti liners, Nylatron washers. 3x Ti standoffs. Ambi thumbstuds. Black G10 and stabilised Mallee Root Burl handles setup. Photos a bit dark ...

Feedback ? Ideas ? (PLease be kind... ;) this is my third linerlock... :o ) Thanks in advance. Jason.

That's a pretty good effort for a 3rd folder!

I'm glad you have decided to try folders, I have some ideas ....

I really like that knife except I would want the locking-liner to be 'buried' or more concealed so that turning or twisting in the hand would not by chance release the lock.........my $.02. ;)

That style really rocks.........

Consider it done... thats a good point. Jason.

That is a beautiful piece Jason! Your work never ceases to amaze me.

Excellent!

Please have a sheepshorn folder version of my latest hunter you made ready for pickup end May when we meet Jason...;)

Would make a lovely set yes....:D

Do you have any plans to do any bowie style bladed folders? Maybe an 'Eastern' influence like your bowie of the same? Now that would be brilliant!

Now, you are the third person to ask me that in the last 24hours. I reckon thats enough motivation for me. :D Hmmm... I must have some small lengths of 1095 or 1084 lying around... Jason.

BTW, thanks guys. Your comments always get put to good use. Jason.

Love it. Esp, the beefy liners.

I like it!! The handle shape is reminiscent of the Spydie Goddard which I always found super-comfortable, one of my favorites, but the blade shape on yours is the one I find most useful for a folder. A smaller version with a pocket clip would be awesome. But . . . I'm not used to seeing that chunk of tang stick out of the handle when closed, on other liner-locks. It seems in the wrong location to serve as a flipper?

Great piece of work :D.

The great thing about your work is, that it never can be put into one category, as you turn out some very different type of knives all the time (take this as positive comment :D).

I'll have to start my foldermaking too, as I have all materials on hand, maybe I'll give it a try today :).

Best regards,
Marcus

Ahhh... thats actually intentional. It actually has a "tactical" application and serves as a striking point when the closed knife is used as a "fist-enhancer." Oops, did I describe something naughty ... ?

Now thats its incorporated into my templates, its stuck in my liner lock folder designs. You'll see it more and more pronounced on my newer folders. Jason.

Good PC term bro... Awesome matter seperators as well.
