FYI- for several months now I have known that Wayne Gottard has written a book on Liner Lock Folders. from what i understand it will be on the bookshelves soon. that is one reason why i stopped work on the one i was doing...along with the fact that my computer went over the edge with my outline and chapter one and a BUNCH of notes..into a black hole forever......so that is why if you have been putting your email on the post below....I havent responded.....I have not given up on the project....just want to check out how good the new book is, no need to do something twice...sincerely tom... and thanks for all the support.......

Tom,

Thanks for the update. I know that Wayne will be at the Oregon Knife Show. Hopefully he'll have copies there too.

But just to let you know that I for one am looking forward to your book too.

Tom, I agree with Rick. Besides I don't know Wayne well enough to give him a bad time if I disagree with him. You on the other hand,

Tom, you sent me a copy of the notes you had but I wasn't able to read them. Bad timing, eh? Having a "book" on the Internet has some definite advantages and disadvantages. I would personally like to see something by you, but like you said, that's a lot of work if it isn't much different from Wayne's book.

Chiro,

Do you still have the notes? If so, maybe Tom can tell you in what format he sent them in. I for one would love to see the notes too.

Rick
