I've been carrying this knife daily for 8 months now.
Had to sharpen it just once.
I've used it to eat, to open a godawful bunch of cardboard boxes when our office was relocated, to cut leather, and shape wood.
The blueing on one of the mosaic damascus bolsters has slightly faded off due to continuous rubbing against my thumb and inside of my pocket.
The blade was razor sharp when it come from the maker and cut cleanly, and still does.
It is very smooth to open and close one handed.
Even after numerous openings and closings the mechanic is perfect and Locks with a neat, clean sound
Great work and a great knife.
It's got a slim handle and is very lightweight, so you can carry it forgetting it's there, yet the handle is rounded enough not to be a pain to use for prolonged hard work.

I have a JJ stellite folder and my experience is similar to yours. The fit and finish is first rate, the knife is smooooth and jason was a pleasure to deal with.

Alarion, can you give us some specs on the folder(blade length, materials, etc.)?A picture would be great if you can.I've been admiring his work for a while.I'm thinking of getting a talonite or stellite folder from J.Jacks.

Mine has Damasteel powder steel damascus blade and carbon fibers scales.
It's 7,5" open and the blade is 3" long.
It weighs about 3 ounces and is a pleasure to carry.
I can't post attached pictures here, unfortunately :( and Imagestation doesn't allow linking from external sites anymore. :(
