Liner lock fix?

Question regarding my CQC Karambit. The liner lock, as strong as I know it is, is engaging pretty late; eyeballing it, I'd say around the 70% area. Do you guys have any recommended fixes I can try? I don't have any vices and strong pliers around my immediate area. If it comes to it, I already have the money set away to get a replacement liner. Just wanted to see if the rest had success with fixing the liner locks in the past.

No, none of that happening luckily. When the lock kicks in, it's set like concrete.

Well, no need to fix what isn't broken. I wouldn't worry about it.

If it does occur, I would suggest contacting Emerson before trying to mess with it yourself.

Seems like a solid lockup. Keep an eye on it. It won't fail but if it bothers you, send it in for a new liner.

After about daily carry over a week's span, it's held up. So in that aspect, I'm not too worried about it. I never had a late lock-up on my Super K, so I guess that's what's throwing me off. Thanks for taking a look.

I wouldn't say that's late lockup, looks perfect to me. For linerlocks, I prefer 100% engagement where the whole lockface is in contact, as long as it isn't close to touching the opposite liner.

My 13 engages at 90% and never travel further. I left it as it is and have been using it daily with no issue whatsoever. So I think you'll be fine.

My old 2006 Commander went to 100% so in August I took it in to Emerson in Harbor City and a few days later had it back with a new liner.

I think the lock is fine. Back in 2006, I gifted my SOCFK-A to my friend/coworker. He uses it everyday/EDC and the lockbar was and is still at 80% from when I gave it to him.
