I've been working on these on and off for a while now. I finally got one finished. This is my second folder to date and it's the first one I've made in my own shop. I took a class with my good friend and mentor,MS Jon Christensen a few years ago and made my first one there in his shop. I also wanted to say thanks to my other good friends Bing and Ed Caffrey. These three guys really helped me out with getting these folders underway.

Nothing revolutionary or groundbreaking here. I just wanted to make a nice straightforward, practical, working/utility folder. This one is light and slim but still plenty stout for a folder.

Specs:
80CrV2 steel
7" open, 4" closed, 2 7/8" of actual sharp edge, .114" thick
Full distal taper in the blade
Blade has a 800 grit hand sanded finish
Rounded spine
Black g-10 scales
.060" thick titanium liners, jeweled
3/16" hardened steel pivot with titanium pivot screws
Titanium handle scale screws
Good, solid lockup and strong detent retention

Any and all comments, questions, critique and opinions welcome.

I like the shape of the handle, looks functional and comfortable to work with, not like most of the modern folders I've seen lately. All together nice work Sir.

Looks awesome closed. Love the handle.

Not personally wild about the blade shape. It's practical and looks like it would work well, but doesn't really grab me from a cosmetic point of view. Some small detail on the blade just to catch the eye might look nice.

Your finish level is amazing. And it reminds me of a simple fixed blade you posted of KF a while back

it is nice! I can see the Doyle style in it. I really need to take a shot at a linerlock soon.
