Liner Lock Issues

It seems that my hands do not work with most liner locks. Most of the liner locks that I have handled disengage or at least move in that direction when I grip the knife. Am I the only one with this problem? Because of this, my BM710 is now my primary carry as the axis lock is the only lock that has my complete trust.

What problem? You have identified the failure, and chosen the correct action. No problem. ;)

Some liner locks do that for me but many don't - it depends on the design mostly.

You could also look at button locks or frame locks as alternatives to lock backs and liner locks.

Of course there is nothing wrong with Axis locks but then you're limiting yourself to only about 8-10 knives and what fun would that be ;)

Are you a "lefty"? I had a (nice) Spyderco Military that I couldn't keep, 'cause when I'd grip the handle hard, the blade would loosen or un-lock. Right-handed liner-locks don't work very well for us "leftys".:(.
