Liner lock mini trapper?

Is anyone aware of a mini-trapper (i.e. around 3.5" or less closed) with a liner lock? The only one I've come across so far is a "Col. Littleton" version. I'm not familiar with Littleton knives - are they a decent brand?

Don't know Littleton. Queen makes a full size liner lock trapper(#19 I think), but there sure could be others. Rough Rider might, they seem to put a lock on just about anything with an edge, but then you might have questions about quality- low price but...you get what you pay for at times. Some folks just love'em though.
Thanks, Neal

Single blade, I presume?

Bear and Son makes something that's like a single blade liner lock mini trapper. The downside is that you may get something that, at best, is equal to a Rough Rider in quality. You may get something that looks like it came from a bin of Pakistan gas station knives.

I think Schrade made something like a single blade liner lock very much like a mini trapper. I don't remember the model number. Or if it was part of the Old Timer or Uncle Henry lines. The pattern probably still survives from the Asian factory.

I don't think Rough Rider makes anything fitting this description. The have had some two blade lockback mini trappers. Pretty nice, really. Many seem to have disappeared, may have been special runs.

I haven't seen the Col. Littleton model you describe. But many Col. Littleton knives look like they're made by Bear and Son. Presumably to a higher standard, considering the prices. They (along with Queen) also churn out knives for Moore Maker, though I don't know what patterns are offered.

Taylor/Schrade Old Timer 194OT is a single blade slimline-type trapper with a liner lock. They call it a Gunstock Trapper. They are still made by the current holder of the Old Timer trademark (Taylor Brands). Not quite a mini trapper but at 3 7/8" closed, smaller than a full-sized trapper.

I have an older version of the Schrade model from 1978 that is in pretty rough condition, but it was a good knife when it was new.

Thanks, guys. I do have a Rough Rider two-blade mini trapper but it's a lockback and the mechanism is very stiff. That Old Timer 1940T might work - I'll look into it.
I have a Case Trapperlock with clip that I really like, but it's just a tad bit too long to carry in the back pocket of some of my dress pants - I need something just a bit shorter.

Moore Maker offers three sizes of trapper with a liner lock - 3-1/2", 3-7/8", and 4-1/8". All made by Queen. IIRC each is made in a single blade version and a two-blade version (liner lock only on the main clip blade). All 1095 carbon.

Case makes a Russlock and a Mid Folding Hunter that both have liner locks, though neither of them looks much like a trapper. The Russlock is an odd looking thing with an opening tab similar to a friction folder, and a long sweeping clip blade (or bulbous drop point blade). But actually a quite handy little knife once you get the hang of opening them. The Mid Folding Hunter is taboo here because of the thumb studs, but so is the Trapperlock for that matter.
