Liner lock on 0350 question please

Hi,
I have a question about a liner lock on a 0350...
The lock seems to go almost all the way to the far side of the blade. Is this normal? I would think somewhere in the middle would be more normal.
Here's a pic, sorry for the quality.

It so happens I just opened a USPS package with a BNIB 0350 and it is nowhere near that of yours.Actually,a bit more than 1/2 of the liner lock is locking up the blade on mine.

I just traded for it. It's been used but not that much.
What do you think is it an issue for Kershaw or not really an issue?
I guess, most importantly, what could cause this? Is there an underlying issue?

Send it to Kershaw for warranty work

That seems like really late lockup for a knife that hasn't really been used. More importantly, is there blade play? If not, I wouldn't worry about the late lockup.

You always need to have two 350's, just in case something like this happens.
