I picked up a Buck/Strider Tarani 882 SBT w/taacom handles. the question I have is there is no blade play whatsoever, but the liner lock is all the way engaged. By this I mean the liner lock is almost touching the opposite side's handle. Can this be fixed? Or will it eventually touch and I am out of luck? Thanks. :D

Mine is like that too. I'm holding out on sending it in until the end of March as per the sticky at the top of this forum. Based on all the great stuff I've heard, I have no doubt that Buck will make it right.

I wonder if they'll just let me trade it in for the G10 handled version..... :D :D :D

 Me,too I really, really like this knife I like it better than my AFCK, or my 880SP. It is very handy and razor sharp. I would like to very much have it made right and if I know Buck they will do it right. Thanks.

is there not a copper colored washer that physically keeps the liner lock from going beyond the edge of the blade? my buck odyssey has a liner lock like that, at first i thought i had to much movement untill i noticed that it cant go any furter that that and really offers maximum locking at that point.
