Which models are liner-locks? Did they ever make any FRN besides the Cricket.

A lot of them and a most of them.

Suggest you try going to www.spyderco.com

The line is going through the transition from 2001 to 2002 model year, so new and discontinued items are not so identified. You can also request a printed catalog.

The website only shows current production. I want to know all the lner-lock models that were made. I know about the Military and own the Cricket.

I also wanted to know the handle material in the various models.

The only comprehensive history is in the book "The Spyderco Story", published by Paladin Press. It was published in either 1999 or 2000, so you won't find information on the releases after that date.

You can find the book new at a number of places, but the absolute rock-bottom price can be found at

www.outdooramericastore.com

Jed handles their knife sales and is a good guy.

Hi Grog. I can think of some. We made the Walker in FRN, we made a "Solo" FRN model for a while. (Solo is another brand name that Spyderco owns). We currently have a "Solo" 5 which is a button release liner lock in AUS-10.

Thanks Sal

I'm thinking of getting another liner-lock in the future. I love my Cricket as far as smoothness of the action.

I like the Military but I already have a G-10 Police that is my main off-duty carry knife so I'll put that one off unless I can get a good deal.
