liner lock

What is a good material for the lock on a liner lock other then titanium.
I wont to start with somthing that is easy to work with?

Titanium is just as easy as stainless...

Easier than some stainless...

I made liner locks for awhile using ats 34 for liners and it worked well just heavier.

Ti is not that hard to work,just use sharp bits and reamers.But you could use 400 series SS> you would have to H/T it and temper to spring hardness,and it's heavier.
