Liner Options for a Novice

I have a basic shop and am reasonably handy, but don't build knives. What are some good, easily available options for handle liners that would give me some different color options? I assume it would need to be something durable to moisture and temperature? I am considering such for one of the becker knives.

you can get slabs of g-10, you can get micarta or make your own there are some videos on youtube. you can also go with natural materials such as bone and wood. there are knife making sites that offer all of these and more.
