The posts by V-1 has sparked some curiosity in me regarding the liners on the Commander.
Just about everyone agrees that the 98 Cs liners, being somewhat thicker, are prefered. Correct?
It was mentioned in the other thread, having a custom liner made if EKI didn't have any available. Has anyone had a pair of liners, thicker ones, made for a post-98 Commander?
What would something like that cost? Would that void the warranty?
If so, would EKI still work on the knife, for a sum?
Not planning on having it done, but a question never asked is never answered.
