Liner Sodbuster knives?

I Used to have a sodbuster knife, unfortunately I lost it this past summer. I loved that thing, although it was only a small chinese schrade, I would use it almost every day for work and around the house. I carried it everywhere, it was simple, useful and got the job done.
One thing I didn't like about it was the non locking aspect to it. I have since seen other sodbusters on ebay that have a liner type lock in them.
Yesterday I was thinking, a mix of a modern liner knife with the traditional sodbuster design would be something I would buy. I now have a senrenmu 603 and now understand that a modern liner knife can be made to look somewhat traditional. I like the one hand opening with the thumb stud and the locking feature on most modern knives.
My question, what company makes the type of knife I am describing? If none I hope my little rant will serve to bring these knives into fruition. The sodbuster has been around for so long for good reason, maybe it's time for an update on a traditional folder.

Don't know about liner locks, but Boker has several sodbusters with a lockback design. Most are under $20.

There are a handful of traditional knives with liner locks along with the lockbacks that have been around for quite some time. The only ones I can think of with a thumbstud for one hand opening are the Case Trapperlock and Kershaw's Double Cross and Double Duty.

Bear and son recently released a series of traditional patterns in 1095 instead of the usual 440a, they have 4 lockback sodbusters though they call them "farm hands" both large/small and in yellow delrin/bone

Check out Case's TrapperLock and Boker's Copperlock and Trapperlock.

I've carried the Case Trapperlock in CV for 2 years, I've got nothing but good things to say about it save for one thing: the thick blade and hollow grind is good at cutting all things accept for cheese and salami/sausages. I used to live off blocks of cheese and salamis for the most part, but I don't even have a fridge this year.

Edit:

If you want stainless I suggest going for one of Boker's stainless selections over Case's stainless. Boker's 440C is on point, amazing stuff.

However if Carbon is your calling, CV is in my opinion better than Boker's C75. Boker's C75 has been in my experience a little on the soft side in what I prefer on a folder, though it'd probably be great on a fixed blade. CV on the other hand has what I consider a near perfect balance of attributes.

Rough Rider has a liner lock soddie. Its made like the Case version that was sadly discontinued in the mid 80's i believe.

Rough Rider makes a locking sodbuster with a liner lock called the "work knife" my dad has one and absolutely loves it.

I believe SAK has something 'Sod Buster' ish with a single blade (a modified clip or a spear) & a liner lock.

Thanks for the help guys. Looks like they don't make what I was looking for. I suppose I'll try to find a Rough Rider since it's the closest.

Moore Maker also has a locking sodbuster.

The Rough Rider liner locking sodbusters are quite good, come in two sizes, and a variety of handle materials. But are you also wanting the ability to open one handed/thumb stud?

Case's Midlock or Trapperlock will fix you right up. Also look at Al Mar's Eagle and Hawk, available in a variety of handle materials.
