Liner Thickness??

What are the thickness of the liner lock's in eki knives??? are they different or all the same??? i Had an 11 in my hand a few weeks ago, and it looked that it has a thinner liner than my 7?? Unfortunately i carried a Millie that day:S so i could not compare properly.

STR posted some pics of the Liner of a 13, that looked on that pickture thicker than my 7's liner:rolleyes: so whats the truth?? Somebody open my eyes please:confused:.

i think there is a post earlier in this forum. in the past year or two they started using the thicker ones
 
The liner thicknes is indeed subject to change, I was told it just depends on the titanium stock available to EKI at the time of perchase.

The liners are always thick enough but some are indeed thicker than others.
Its not a big deal but of course just like every one else I would prefer the thicker liners if given the choice.

LoL, so it depends only on luck?? hm... its a bit strange for me that liner thickness can randomly varying....:eek:
 
zozo---My CQC-7 has different thickness liners. That knife won't fail me but i hear ya. ;)
 
If you like the knife so much, you can always send it out for a framelock conversion.
