Hey guys! Hope our U.S. members had a happy turkey day.

I'm thinking I want to get back to making slipjoints again. I really miss making them. I'd like to try a linerless shadow pattern. If any of you have them I'd love some inspiration!

Hmmm, interesting thread idea Brian. I was discussing these recently with Duncan (Campbellclanman) in relation to an ivory Lady's Knife I sent him. There's a pic of it in the Old Knives thread. I'll have a dig around in the sock-drawer, see what else I can find ;)

I'll have to look for the picture. I'm assuming a ladies knife was small and petite and not made for hard use? Seems ivory would be awfully fragile for a linerless knife. Pretty, but fragile.

Yes, they were included in reticules. Here's another one :)

All mine are either friction folders or lock-knives (EKA), or they're all metal :(

Old picture and it's hard to capture the greatness of this baby URL=http://s1307.photobucket.com/user/jwolf90/media/Mobile%20Uploads/1416614076_zpsf8ad4709.jpg.html]

I don't have many like that, but if you want to make something outstanding this would be a good place to start. By Ohta:
