I think I'm going to try to make a linerless shadow pattern zulu spear in 52100 next. I'd love to see some of you guys' linerless shadow patterns for inspiration!

This is one of my favourites, a large trapper by Richard Rogers. The handle is deep so the skinning blade is almost completely recessed. He's also rounded the spine of the skinner for comfort. The scales are G10, blades stonewashed A2 and springs tumbled CPM 154. Despite being a shadow it's rock solid. The tumbled finish means you don't have to mollycoddle it. I EDC it and it doesn't show a mark.

My only other one is a Blakeston's Fish Owl (great name!) by Moki. Micarta scales and a lovely blade. Moki's usual high build standard despite being their cheapest knife. I often carry this one as a work EDC.

Looking forward to seeing your creation:)

LOvely knives there Sam. I was talking to Duncan about linerless patterns just the other night, in relation to a Lady's Knife. I'll have to go and have a look in the knife drawer! ;)
