I don`t think wood would give it enough added strength, but I could probably use a very thin (1/16") micarta liner to make up for it.

Very nice. I got the package in the mail. It's riding in my pocket as we speak. Thoughts later...

The larger one is easily 10 times better than the small one. The longer handle just seems to make it so much smoother when opening and closing one handed. I`m going to stick my neck out, and say this is the classiest knife I have ever made. I really want to keep it for myself, but there are bills to be paid. I`m hoping that the folders are the future of JK Knives.

Update while at work: I like the thumb stud and the size of the knife. Sharp lil guy. It has a sticking point on the liner lock that I'm sure is only because it is the first of it's kind. I can see the spot and John may have to just give me this one. I liked the yellow handle scales better, but that has zero to do with the performance. I wear dress pants to work and I like the feel in my pocket, although I will opt for a clip when I get mine. More later.

Two days and not even a nibble? How about for any JK Supporter, I drop it to $220 shipped.

John, I have been watching your folder evolution and am liking what I see! I am closing on a house in June but will be saving for one of these beauties! Keep up the good work!
