I was looking at my 0780 and realizing that I like the blacked out liners alot! If you haven't seen one yet it looks just like the black coated clips do. I was thinking it would look really good on the 0350 being that it has visible non coated liners. I know it would add an extra step to the process, but I feel on the 0350 it would be greatly appreciated. What do the rest of you Zed heads think about the idea?

I think it would look good on the tigerstripe version and coated version. I prefer the uncoated liners on the stonewashed and composite versions.

Thats a good point. I wouldn't like it on my 0561 or 0550

Ya know... I didn't notice that. The 0700 has regular steel liners, and the blacked put ones look great, and also look good on my 0303. Hmmm....

I agree too, if its an all black knife the liners should be black too. I always wondered why they werent.

I like the looks of the standoffs on your 0350. Where do I find those to replace my solid piece?

The Ti liners on both my ZT0301s are black DLC. Neither has any noticeable wear.

THATS what it is! LOL I was looking at that picture of the 350 and couldn’t figure out what was different!

I'd be in line in a heartbeat for a blacked out 0560, DLC of course.

Of course, the 350 in same suit wouldn't look too bad, either.

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to notice!

2ac, That was a custom job I did on it a few months back. I like the flow through design much better. I can say that if you wanted to do that to yours, you would need to find some that are around the size of a blur's ;).

No... unless it was DLC.
It will get all scratched up and look ugly.

I believe it is the same as the clips on the 780 anyway. Maybe it's just me and I'm not hard on my clips, but I have not had my clips with that coating get all scratched up. It does show marks, but does not scratch easily.

Any one have scratches on their 780 liners? If you do can you post some pics please?

That looks like it might work. That makes me wonder how blueing them would work? I have some blueing stuff in the gun cabinet from touching up an old rifle. I used on a pipe hawk i modded too. I might have to try that and see what happens!
